Gunnar's Mom asked me today if the images from her newborn session were cute... Well..here is proof. :)
This little guy was born two months premature and he is doing so great now! He has gained a little over three pounds since he was born! This little guy did so well his entire session, he even had a break in the middle when his nurse came and he still went right back to sleep. Such a cutie!!
Well, it isn't the weekend yet, but it is close! I wanted to let everyone know that doesn't already, that I will be helping out at a photography workshop this weekend and will have limited phone and email capability. I am hoping to be able to check both at least a couple times while I am there.
Thursday is take your son or daughter to work day, so at my newborn session I will be bringing Lauren, my little 4yo daughter. She loves babies and she loves cameras...I just wish she loved getting her picture taken..ah well. She has her moments.
I was trying to find an image to include on this blog entry but am a little behind on proofing so I will include one from one of our recent trips to Sedona.

There is a shot of Miss Lauren from her newborn session back in the archives in October.. I couldn't believe when they said they were ready for her six month session, I had thought I was *just there! Time goes so quickly!
I had so much fun with her, this is such a great age, and I have been able to do two babies the last few weeks that were six months! What a treat!
She had so many great expressions, that I thought I would put one of those up on the blog, but at the last minute I picked this one. For her newborn session one of my favorite images was one of dad holding her so I thought I would continue the trend. You can really see how big she is now this way... :)
Everyone has heard that newborns don't smile, that it is just gas. Well you know what? I think that is just wrong. Case in point.. Little Grace here, not even two weeks old....not only did she smile in her sleep, she laughed. Ok, I guess gas bubbles can be funny, but when you see the smile and hear the laughter...you just know it is coming from some happy place....
So, I was looking on the internet looking for some fun things to do to make cupcakes and I saw this cute little short movie. This must have taken a long time, but I thought it was just kinda cute. :)

There are just some things that us photographers look for at every session...that special time, that moment...and I think this is that moment. The photograph just speaks for itself, a new little guy with his mom.. I so love it!!
I think my email issues are fixed now! Not positive...but I sent myself a test message and it went through ok!
